  • Whatley Manor

    The L19 Management team were engaged by General Manager; Sue Williams, soon after she took on the role at Whatley Manor. Commercially astute, Sue wanted to drive all round profitability for the business, a five star Relais and Chateaux hotel in the Cotswsolds.

    We undertook a full commercial review to include all processes and systems and sales and marketing activity. Since we began in early 2017 occupancy, rooms and total revenue have shown positive growth YOY, our team have deployed a strategy for 2018 that will include specific marketing activity and GDPR compliance strategy.

  • Luxury Family Hotels

    Revenue and sales management LFH ( Luxury Family Hotels)

    In 2011 the LFH management team took over the running of seven prestigious country house hotels from the groups administrators. The first challenge for the team was to redevelop the business and implement a niche brand across the group to establish a successful business operating within the rigorous constraints of private equity funders.

    L19 Management worked with the brand from the outset undertaking a structured review of business strategy, plans and processes and implemented a comprehensive programme of change.

    We assessed the strengths, capabilities and weaknesses of the systems in place. This included IT, technical and application infrastructures, skill base, organisation structure and management processes.  A strategic plan was developed to bring about positive change and future proof the business against the impact of continued growth.

    The result of this early assessment was the implementation of enduring best practice across the business. This included:

    • Seamless implementation and integration of a new property management system PMS
    • Opening of a central reservations office CRS
    • Implementation of client relationship management system CRM
    • Centralised booking processes

    This approach facilitated central revenue optimisation applied across the group to deliver full management of rooms and revenue across the portfolio.

    This long- term project, since implementation in  2012, delivered consistent revenue growth across the group and increased EBITDA by 1000% within the five year timescale. L19 Continues to work with Luxury Family Hotels.
  • Sheen Falls Lodge

    Sheen Falls Lodge, a luxury 5 star Relais Chateaux resort in Ireland, underwent a change of ownership in 2013, at this point the business had been in decline over a number of years and urgent action was needed to drive revenues across the resort.

    L19 Management undertook a comprehensive review of the business, this included:

    • Management structure and capabilities
    • Key processes, including the reservation process from beginning to end

    This prompted a full review of the bedroom configuration and the introduction of a new pricing model, this was in turn supported by a new PMS, CRS and CRM solution.

    Since 2013 L19 Management have continued to provide strategic revenue management reviews and pricing expertise to the on-property sales team.

    The practices and procedures implemented by L19 Management with the on-property team have contributed to a rooms revenue growth of 25% YOY and an uplift in direct bookings revenue of 40% YOY.

    We continue to work with Sheen Falls Lodge to drive revenue across the business.

    The Elms Hotel and Spa

    L19 supported the hotel through its transition to new ownership, we continue to assist the operation in 2020.

    L19 recommended and implements PMS and CRS solutions into The Old Coffee Tavern in Warwick

    Grantley Hall

    L19 are working with Grantley Hall in Ripon, a five star luxury country house hotel and spa to role out a full system scope and integration project covering PMS, F&B, Spa, on-line distribution connectivity and payment processing.

    St Aubyn Estates

    L19 have recently completed a commercial review with recommendations and supported the hotels during 2018/19.

    L19 supported the hotel through its transition to new ownership, we continue to work with the hotel team.

    L19 has started working with the management team to launch the direct booking channel and we continue to support the resort and it's development.

    Combe Grove

    L19 worked with the new owners to re-launch the hotel in 2016, new website, booking engine and PMS configuration were completed and a year of commercial and marketing support followed.

    L19 were tasked with reducing the hotels reliance on OTA to reduce cost of sale, a total hotel inventory re-structure and system configuration were completed with a full year of support.  L19 supported the MD with senior level hotel recruitment.
